Help needed with Kalk Drip

I have a few questions about dripping kalk. I am using a 15 gallon freshwater reservoir attached to a nilson reactor and an aquamedic sp3000 dosing pump.

First question: How do I keep the nilson reactor from reverse siphoning kalkwasser into my reservoir when the reservoir level gets below the height of the nilson reactor? Due to my design, I can't keep the reservoir higher than the reactor. Can I use some sort of check valve for the tubing? Better dosing pump?

Second question: Where is the best place to drip the kalk into the aquarium? Right now I'm dripping into the sump, somewhat close to the return pump. It seems like this may have baked one of my montipora caps that was near the return outlet. Should I drip it into the overflow so it has more time to mix with the tank water?

Thanks for your help!
