help needed

it's strontium and calcium are the main ingredients, i used it the first month after I cycle to promote coraline growth. On my 90 i used 1.75 capfuls everyday. this was the smaller bottle i think 16 or 20 ounce. By the end of the month the coraline was awesome so i stopped. Now I use the 2 part b-ionic.

oh yeah make sure you shake it really well each time otherwise what I assume is the calcium additive settles to the bottom

IF YOU ARE NOT TESTING FOR IT, DO NOT DOSE IT!

That, my friend, is the golden rule of dosing.

I you are doing regular water changes with a good salt mix you will be adding in most the trace elements you need. If you have a real heavy coral load, dosing may be necessary, but, by all means test before you dose!

Don't use the stuff. I used it for a bit then quit. Found B-Ionic does a better job. Still got half the original bottle, why, i have no clue.

Bryan,

I agree with your statement, but you know these boards. I have to add some fire to this thread. Check out this guys tank and he doses lots without testing:

Cheers,

Look at that guys skimmer.. anything he adds is sucked out of the water before it makes it to a coral :-)
