Help, new coral beauty not eating

I bought a coral beauty on sunday and it has been 4 days and he is still not eating. He looks healthy, he is swimming around and pecking at the rocks but will not eat flake, mysis, brine shrimp, nori, or formula 2. The only thing he has eaten is the micro-algea on the rocks (I assume that is what he is eating when he picks at the rocks). I do not have any macro-algea to feed him, And I am pretty sure he needs to eat more than what he is geting off the rocks. Is there something I can do to get him to eat?

If he is pecking that is a good sign, just keep offering a variety of foods, he will catch on eventually

Mine didn't eat for two weeks. Then I bought Kent Garlic and that got the Coral Beauty eating. Good luck.

Thanks guys, Im going to the LFS tonight, i'll see if they have the garlic and i'm going to see what other foods they have, and mabey some macroalgea.

Mine didn't eat for a week, just picking at rocks like yours. Then one day he just started taking pellets (Newlife Spectrum Thera+A 1mm). Now he will eat mysis, and flake too.

Mine is really small too (about 1.25 inches). In my experience it's harder to get very young fish to take prepared foods.

I have another question. My angel likes pellet food best, but is this providing proper nutrition? I have seen places like Drs Foster&Smith say you should feed an "angelfish preparation". What is in these? I try to feed a vaiety of stuff: pellets, flake, mysis, phyto and zooplankton for the corals.
