Help New Stream Kit Won't Work

I just hooked up a new Tunze Stream Kit with the 6000 pump. The propeller won't turn and the siren is going off. Am I doing something wrong or is the pump not working properly? Any advice or help is appreciated.

I would double check the drive unit, often in shipping the parts slip out of position. Push the bush bearing in firmly. Push the drive unit in firmly. Try to get the air out of the pump as this will also cause an alarm (run dry). This could also happen if the controller cable is not pushed in all the way and making good contact. They test them before they leave so it would be unusual for it to not work do to a faulty part.

I took out the impeller and put it back in all the way. The pump still did not work. I turned the blade by hand and it started working for about 20 seconds before stopping. I will disassemble the pump further but I am not sure what I am looking for. I am new to Tunze products and I'm not sure what is a moving part and what is not. I am afraid of damaging the pump myself. Anyway, I was wondering if the fact that it started working for a short period of time after I turned the blade was any indication of the problem.

Check for a crack in the magnet of the propeller, that may cause it. If you are just frustrated you can send it to me and I will take care of it.

What is your address? I can't get the pump working. Also, should I send everything or just the pump and the box it is connected to? Thanks very much for your help and fast responses. I see why the company has such a good reputation for customer service.

I am sorry for the problem, I don't need the transformer seeing as it tried to spin. I just got another pump back for a similar problem and it was very simple. The pump plug was not fully connected to the driver board. Double check this before you send it. Open the driver, the manual shows how. Inside make sure the pump plug is clipped into the socket and not just resting on the socket. If that doesn't get it send it to me, I only need the motor and driver and not the transformer.
