So I`m new to SPS corals!

My first SPS are 3 frags of a green montipora cap and a green acropora.
They were doing modestly well and gaining some color in my tank until now.

Just to say a little about my tank it has 6x39 T5`s ( 3 Actinic / 3 white 10000K ) and the photoperiod is 8 hours per day.
I`m running two fluidised reactors with 1000ml of N/P Biopellets and and 2000ml of GFO and my skimmer is a mini BK 160.
I do 15% water changes biweekly with RO/DI water and am using Royal Nature Tropical Reef Salt.
The tank is 110 gallons and is 9 month old.

water parameters are:

No2 -0
No3 -2
Po4 -0
Ca -490
Mg -1200
KH -7.7

SG- 1.26
Temp. 27ºC

Here is a picture of the corals about 2 weeks ago:

My montipora were brown and became green but are now fading away in the center they look kind of brownish/Grey but conyinue to grow.

The acropora was very pale when it arrived and gained color but looks a bit darker now.

Here are some photos of the corals at the moment:

Please give me some hints how to care for these guys and how to make the necessary adjustments for them to grow hapy.

Your Mg is a little low, but I don't think that's the issue here. Typically you want to shoot for 3x your Ca. And I assume you missed a 0 on you SG.

How's your flow?

yes I did miss a 0 on my SG :)

My tank is in a cube shape. I have a return pump of 900gph a Vortec MP 40 and a tunze turbelle 6045.

What are you using to measure phosphates with? Test kit or hanna meter?

With them darkening, it sounds like a nutrient issue. Might try taking water samples to a LFS and have them confirm your numbers.

HTH,

HTH,
I`m measuring phosphate with hanna meter and also tested with a TMC test kit. I did the test again today with the hanna meter and the result was 002

I was wondering if this could be because of low nutrient and they are actually starving??

what about feeding could this be the problem? I dont feed the corals I just feed my fish with some mysis, dryed seaweed and pellet food.

The montipora frags are strange you kind of see some brown peeling coming out and they look greyish underneath
