Help. New Xenia frag. Do I dip?

I usually dip all of my corals but someone told me not to dip this one. I am using Revive. Does anyone have any advice on whether to dip it or not? It is on a suspicious piece of rock..

I use revive. dip it. They get ****ed but in a few days they forgive you and stay happy. Not worth the risk of skipping it. It you are ever concerned in a dip you can use hydroplex. Not as harsh but get a good many icky things. Safe for fish and inverts too. I thought that was cool.

Do not let it attach to any rock you cannot trade: in most tanks it goes runaway very easily, and splits off and spreads.
