help...no pe on my birdsnest

As of yesterday, the birdsnest in my DT are not showing any pe but the frags I have in my frag tank which is on the same system still look fine. I had two issues in the last week with the tank...

1. Because of a programming error on my part I was double dosing alk for about 30 hours and this was discovered a week ago. Alk level went from 9.3 dkh to 10.75 dkh. Nothing in the tank was looking stressed and havent lost anything due to the spike in alk.

2. tested nitrates before my weekly wc yesterday and they were at 5. Did 20% wc and not seeing any improvement to the pe.

I did move a duncan colony and it might be brushing up against it....I dont believe duncans sting but please correct me if I am wrong.

This was my first sps frag I got and it has easily tripled in size since getting it. Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Anything with tentacles like anenomes, zoos, duncan ect.. Sting

I've noticed that microbubbles stress out my birdsnest more than almost any other factor. FWIW.

Impact from an alk swing can be delayed. and may swow itself as much as a week later.

I find my ora green bird to retract sometimes for oddbal reasons...you could also have bugs that you can't see....
