Have your cross referenced your salinity with a different instrument? I'm going through the same thing and thought my SG was @ 1.026 and it was actually at 1.020. I've brought it up slowly over the last week and colors are starting to come back.

i use a refracto meter to check my salinity. calibrated it the last time i did a water change

Hey Mike810. Been a month+ since you switched things up. Any noticable changes?

yes, with the shorter photo period and raising the lights up a bit. I have noticed the colors in my zoa and sps coming back. I also started to feed more to put some nutrients back into the tank. But I think i overfed cause nitrates started to climb lol so im backing off that a little. Hopefully the colors will return more to a deeper richer color. Right now it has color back but it isn't deep and rich like it should be. either way im happy to see some results.

I had this happen when I dosed Tech M for bryopsis...probably not related in your case though
