Help!!!
I purchased the large magnet holders. And, of course, they are too large to fit along my back wall. The reason is that my overflow which is in the center of my back wall is trapazoidal. Now what would be the best way to place the streams?
Option 1. Use the magnet holders and place them on the slanted overflow wall. The stream will then be pointed towards the side wall at a slight angle and would only be about 1-1.5" away from the side wall. I figure the current would then bounce off the side wall along the tank. Would a wall that close to the Stream be a problem? I have a feeling that this would undermine the effectiveness of the Stream.
Option 2. Use adhesive and mount the streams permanently along the back wall (the streams fit, but the magnet holders don't). This will be difficult to get straight as the back wall is pretty far from the opening at the top of my acrylic tank. And, it will have to be done all underwater.
Option 3. Drill a hole in the top of the tank next to the back wall and use the usual mounting rail and screw.
Here's a pic of my tank from the front looking at the back wall and the overflow behind the rock structure...
What do you think would be best. BTW, thanks for all your help RV. Tunze stuff is the coolest...
