I JUST BOUGHT ABAUGI CARDINAL TUESDAY, GOT UP TODAY AND MY FLAMEANGEL, & SHOULDRE TANG HAS PAST AWAY, DO YOU THINK IT WAS THE NEW FISH? SHOULD I DO A WATER CHANGE?

i would test your water params and see what is out of whack, then take a shot at diagnosing the problem. post them.

It could be anything that caused them to die. From a water quality issue to a pathogen the new fish brought in. Is it in poor health?

OK if you don't have the ability to test your water then please do a water change ASAP. You could have a big problem and not know it. In the future please know that test kits are a must. A good band like Salifert.

For pH just let us know what it reads. You want to be from 8.2-8.4 ideally.

And pretty please kill the cap lock.

THE NEW FISH LOOKS THE SAME BUT AS I WAS PICKING HIM OUT THERE WAS ONE ALREADY GOING UPSIDE DOWN. I SAID BE SURE NOT TO GET THAT ONE. THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME. HE MAY OF GOT SOMETHING FROM THAT ONE.

One week is nothing. Quarantine is meant to be at least a 6 week process. :)

Please kill the cap locks I begging. :D

I JUST CALLED THE LFS THE GUY SAID TEST THE WATER BEFOR I DO A WATER CHANGE. I SENT MY DAUGHTR DOWN TO THE PET STORE TO LET THEM TEST MY WATER BUT THEY JUST SELL FW FISH COULD HE STILL TEST FOR WHAT I NEED?

Freshwater test kits are differen't then saltwater test kits so they may not be able to help. I would recomend going online or to the lfs and getting some marine test kits. Its always good to have test kits around to test your water weekly ( which you should )

Just get some marine ones at the lfs or I may recomend bigalsonline.com They have free shipping over $50 and most likly your going to spend around $70 for test kits.

Like I said too, if you don't have your test results then do a water change to be on the safe side. Something could be horribly off and you might need to correct it.

Don't skimp on the quailty of the test kits too. Salifert and LaMotte are good ones.
