Help please

Okay I just bought some coral
I have a blue legged hermit crab, really big, and I just put in my new coral piece, i was wondering if my crab will eat the coral and my anemone, should I get rid of him? And will he eat the purple stuff and the red/brown stuff? View attachment 223785

my hermit crabs leave all my coral alone for the most part. I dont think they will eat them either. The purple thing you are seeing are coraline.

When ever I put a new coral in the tank all my hermits migrate to it and start searching the rock it is on for algae and pods or what ever.They Never harm the coral.

The hermit may not be eating at the coral, rather bothering it by being close by all the time.
I have an emerald crab that bothers my coral from time to time and I have witnessed my corals responding to hermits being around them eating and what not.

It is a Electric Blue Hermit Crab. They are reef safe but will knock things over crawling around.
