Bought a beautiful Kuda seahorse that is very large. I asked the store if it was captive raised and eating and they said frozen mysis would work. Three days not and he won't eat. I'm thinking he's from the wild now. I don't want to loose him. I bought a few peppermint shrimp but he won't eat them. He's in a tank all to himself and bet active looking for food, just doesn't bite. Any advice would be appreciated

My plan
1) get small live ghost shrimp so he doesn't starve
2) find a supplier for live saltwater mysis or other shrimp

I would pick up both , Live Brine & live Ghost Shrimp.
One of mine took 5 days before she ate,, when she did. it was live brine.. then it took me a week to changer her over to frozens.

If he is large, then ghost shrimp may be more enticing for him than brine shrimp. A lot of local fish stores sell live ghost shrimp and bait stores may also have them. You may be able to switch him over from ghost shrimp to live after a few weeks of patiently working with him. I have some large reidis that ignore live brine shrimp entirely, but go crazy for ghost shrimp.

Thanks for the replies. Got him to eat 3 small ghost shrimp after putting him in a specimen container with the shrimp. So happy, was worried I would loosed him.
