Yesterday evening I acclimated a few new coral and didn't notice this...
Today however parts of a rock got covered with that. Is this harmful?

Any advice is helpful... and thanks in advance

Yes I do have a shortspine urchin

Have you touched the white on the rocks? It may bare rock after the urchin had a snack.
