Hey,
My Koralia 4 was found not working in my tank, so I took it out and removed the propeller assembly and shaft and rinsed everything out with freshwater and soaked it. However still when I plug it in, nothing happens. Anyone know any quick tips or have this happen to them? Any help would be much appreciated.

Well I have actually tried that as well, not while it was in the tank, but while it was in the freshwater bath I set up. Still nothing.

When it is unplugged, can you spin the impeller with your finger. If not you need to make sure the shaft is not bent and that the impeller is not warped.

You may want to get a hold of Hydor Customer Service.

Well soaking in vinegar didn't do much other than clean the pump and yea the propeller spins but I have already gotten a hold of their customer service and I am shipping it out. Thanks for all the advice guys.

My K4 stopped too. The plug was a little lose, and it 'kicked' a few times making a clicking noise, and now I got nothing. I didn't think there was any machanical parts inside them to break, and being in Canada I am better off just tossing it... but I guess what I am saying is, it can break. lol

I own 7 Koralias(2 years). Only 1 stopped, and they have excellent customer service(2 year warranty/date stamped on unit). Sent it back and they sent me a new 1 within 2 weeks of shipping out. Call them, their slow on email.

Do you have the customer service number? Mine too stopped working tried it in the sink even helping the prop turn didnt work but I got shocked so I see it's one of their problem.

Thanks. It didn't work, I guess it's because I'm from Canada with a toll free number from the states. I went on their website but it's pretty much all italian.
