I posted this question in another part of the forum with no replies. Hopefully someone here can help!
I purchased a really nice red BTA from a fellow reefer a few weeks ago, I was observing it in my holding tank when I noticed what appeared to be a Rapa snail (Coralliophilidae) attached to the base of the Anemone. I have since removed the snail and placed it in a QT tank before I decide what to do with it. The anemone seemed to retract when I removed the snail. I looked around the forum and Web to see if these or other snails will feed on anemones but I didn't find anything conclusive. I was under the impression that rapa snails only fed on corals, mainly leathers. Good thing I didn't place it directly in my DT.
Has anyone heard or seen this?
Thanks
