HELP recovering from power outage

Well this morning I woke up to a knock on the door telling me the buidling was being cleared and I had 5 minutes to pack some stuff and get out. The other half of my building had a fire and thankful everyone is ok and nothing happened on my side of the building. Power was out from roughly 8:30am to 4pm. Just got home and turned everything on including the battery powered airator I just returned with. My reef is down to nearly 60 degrees and it looks like everything is alive but mostly not so happy looking.

My question is what should I do and look for as I bring the heat back up to the normal 78?

Is loss of oxygen a problem with this length of time? Should I leave the battery bubbler running a while even though all the pumps are on now?

Thanks for your help. I'm optimistic things will be ok.

For the heat, Float some hot water in zip log bags. As for the air just keep it going for a bit to help stablize everything. I would check and make sure nothing is out of wack like ph.

8 hours with no power. Wow. I think whatever made it through will continue to make it. The worst is probably over, and your tank should slowly get back to normal. I think you got lucky.

Update:

I got back in for a few hours with the power on. As the temp rose to back up to normal things seemed to perk up. I was even able to feed the fish. Then my super decided to turn the power back off at 10pm. I shut all the windows and left the battery powered air stone running. Hopefully I will be able to get back in during the day today. :(

Might be a little late, but future reference you can use a blanket to cover around the tank to help keep heat in. Just don't let it get in the water or you will create a great syphin for water to seep out. I remember one guy on here threw a sock in his room and it got on the tank and a bunch of water came out
