help removing RBTA from rock

How do you remove an RBTA from a rock? I've tried the ice method but failed. My RBTA splitted awhile back and I'd like to trade one off if possible.

If possible, move the whole rock (put it in a bag if you expect to trade it that day). I betcha it'll let go then. You could also try to aim a powerhead at it a little bit (not directly on it, but enough to disturb it and hopefully move it to an easier location to take it off).

okay. I tried the powerhead and the hang method but no luck. I removed the rock and placed it in the fuge for now. Perhaps the new location will make it move.

Thanks.

I removed a Green BTA from tank about 2 weeks ago after it split. I put a powerhead aimed at the foot of the BTA and left it for about 2 hours before the BTA started to let go. I then had to slowly work the remainder of the foot off. This took about 3 hours total.

Thanks for the tips.

Well, the anemone has not moved a bit since I placed the rock in the fuge. The foot is in a crevice so I can't get to it until it moves.
I may try the powerhead trick again.
