Hello all,
I am doing a build for an inwall setup (120 gallon standard 48x24x24).
I have an old acrylic aquarium that has the two side overflows.
I am removing the overflows with a hand grinder and cut off wheel.
Of course it is leaving some pretty bad gouging on the sides and back.
Question is can I glue a sheet of black plexiglass on the inside of the sides and the back. The aquarium only needs to be viewed in the front since it is an in wall, I was more then likely going to paint these areas anyways. The gouges are too deep to restore. I was thinking of glueing 1/8" sheet of plexiglass. I do not think just painting the areas would hide the scratches.
thanks,
Albert
