Help to identify

Today I noticed some hair like things coming out of the sand in my tank. When I overturned the sand it was a yellowish orange worm like thing with long hairlike madness???? What the he!!? After looking, I pulled about 6 out of the tank. They were about an inch long. What are these and are they bad?

Hair worms. They're harmless detritivores.
