Im running two 6105s through a 7096, I have it set on sequential with power alternating between 30 and 50% on each side.

The pumps run at 50%, then 30%, then off for a few seconds. How do I set this up so the pumps run randomly at various % without shutting off for a few seconds between? Is sequential the best program to use for this?

Do you have a mac or windows? The windows version has more features and will be able to come close to what you are trying to do.

I have windows, I think Im just having a hard time knowing which % is suppose to be the max and which is the min (if that matters) and what exactly the three main modes actually do differently.

Interval switches back and forth between (1 and 2) and (3 and 4) at the set interval, this is used to simulate tides with a long interval of 5-6 hours. Pulse mode is all pumps on and pulsing, this is used where you need maximum flow and all pumps running. Sequential is primarily used with 4 pumps parallel to each other on the back wall to create a surge effect, the pumps come on sequentially so 1 only, 1,2 then 1,2,3 and finally 1,2,3,4 and back to 1.

If you update the controller sequential will have an additional check box (download on the website) and this will make a default 30%, you then set 2 speeds and at random the pumps switch on at 30% or the 2 speeds you set.

Man I forgot to check this! So...

seems like sequential is not the right setting for me.

So interval switches back and forth, If I put a pump in port 1 and 3, it will switch back and forth between them, how does it decide what % to run? does it always run at the same percent? or will it switch?

The pump that is on will pulse between the two speeds you set at the number of seconds you set, so in the photo, 2 seconds at 30% and 2 seconds at 50% and back and forth. If you set minimum speed for off pump that normally off pump will idle at 30%.
