I am looking at setting up my 75 gal in the basement as a sump for my 120 upstairs. I am looking for advice on setting up a new ro/di unit and sump with plumbing ect. as I want to increase the overall gal. of water and possibly upgrade the entire system. I will need a plan of action as far as return pump, piping, dehumidifier for basement??, lighting, auto shutoffs so not to drain upstairs tank as there seems to be a lot of power issues in Vinton. I dunno if someone would be able to figue out what may be needed as this may take a little time but I think it will be worth it over time.

Dude, stop over and check out my system, I'm sure it will give you all kinds of idea's.

By looking at mine you at least know what NOT to do.
Someone was gonna say it anyway.

;)

Here is mine, All it is is one big baffle with teeth on the right for the skimmer. The water is always the same level in this chamber, then there's a fuge section, then i have 3 other baffles for bubble traps, finally the return section with my top-off. It was real easy to do, i would say the hardest part was siliconing the baffles in place.
