HELP!!! Torch coral broken from its skeleton

Hi guys I desperate need some help!!

Let me tell you guys about my setup real quick, I got a 64 gallon DT, and a 37 gallon sump.
I got the ASM g4 in sump skimmer, two koralias evo, and 2x54 watts ATI bulbs, my system is 7 months old.

Yesterday I brought home a torch coral, it has 3 heads and it was healthy until I tried to glue it to a rock, because I didn't notice that it fell on the floor and the tips of the skeleton got broken... damn I feel really frustrated, I dont know if my coral is going to make it..

My DT has 17-inch deep, and the coral is located 12 inches under my lighting setup, with medium-low flow.

Let me show you guys some pics, I hope someone with this kind of experience can help me.

It seems that my torch is barely opening, but then after a while it closes up again.

What should I do? Is it receiving too much flow? Please help me..

might be to much flow but could also just be acclimating to everything. light, water, flow give it a little time the crack down the one should heal and seal in time. The one that is chipped is the one I would worry about try and make sure there are no sharp edges because could cut it and then possible infections could come but try not to move it to much since it is already stressed. I am new to this myself but that would be my opinion.

Hey y0ung0ne, I really appreciate your help..
I dont know what to do with the head that is chipped because I dont think I will handle severe stress if I try to fix it manually.

Ohh Im sorry, I have 4x54 watt ATI bulbs (3 blue + 1 aquablue), not 2x54.. dont know what I was thinking.. my mistake

Don't worry about it bud, it will heal up pretty fast if your water is good. In the mean time just dont let detritus get underneath the crack. Lps are very hardy and will heal up in time.

not a problem glad to help.........I would say from the video it looks like to much flow on it....I have mine in a spot that gets movement but not a whole lot and the thing has doubled in size since I got it. If you have a spot that has a slower flow I would put it there to heal and see how it does. It is all about finding that one spot that makes them grow like crazy. Check out my thread and you can see my torch. Lighting is it enough for frogspawn and hammer.

I took your advice y0ung0ne and I have already relocated the coral, now is getting less flow and more light, what do you think guys, is it better, now?

IMO i still think it has to much flow mine doesnt even have that much i meqan it moves but shouldnt whip like yours is it will stress the coral. Mine is a bit ina spot where it gets very little flow and it is about the size of large softball if not a small volleyball I would try and find a spot where it barely moves to where it slightly sways. If it is pushing that hard on it it takes a risk of if there is a sharp spot on it might tear the polyps of it. jmo though take it as a grain of salt I am a noob at this myself so...........

Guess what? the skeleton seems to be growing back!!
I relocated the coral, it barely moves, but now Im having problems with calcium and kh :s
