Me and my wife have set up a 100 gl aquarium with a 4 gl sump lots of live rock came with the tank and a uv filter ,many power heads, large in-sump return pump , protein skimmer not sure what brand, it also came with some corals a frogspawn,some mushroom corals , one anemone, we bought a few fish a powderbrown dang,2 barbed gobys,maroon clown ,lime green wrasse, recently we have been having huge problems with hair algae and green algae on glass and rocks this our biggest problem what would be the best way to rid the tank of most unwanted algae the sand bad also quickly becomes dirty we do frequent water changes and sand vacuming in the front were we can reach without disturbing corals what would be the best way to handle this problem any help greatly appreciated thanks guys need any help we can get .

There are long-term and short term solution to this. On the longer term side...Look into setting up a refugium or a deep (more than 12") remote sand bed. On the shorter term, if you are not doing it already, make sure you only use reverse osmosis filtered water for make up and water changes. Other steps include reducing your the feeding to your fish. Beleive it or not, most of us tends to overfeed our fish...and ourselves. You can also push your skimmer a bit more by adjusting it to get a wetter skimmate.
