or does any body on here have one theyed like to sell. thx for all your help .
this site looks great.

defently a reef tank fo sure, im new to this pardon the dumb questions do u have to choose which type of reef you want . i really want some of those mushrooms plants.

different corals require diffrent lighting. shrooms though don't require much.

from what I seen in those ads I suggest just getting the tank and getting your own equipment. the saltwater one IMO had crap for useable stuff.

[welcome]

the last one i posted there with the blue.... yea im want to build my stand as well, since carpentry is in my blood. im giddy as a school girlabout this, so much knollege on this site.

can any yall recomed good coarals to buy also for beginer, but from lookin around the site somthing that can be traded in the future.

if you planning on building the stand and such yourself then I wouldn't get any of those. you can just buy a brand new 75 gal. tank only for those prices.

as for good beginner corals I suggest green star polyps, shrooms, kenya tree's, leathers, zoas, ect.

There is about a month of setup involved: don't buy any livestock until your tank is set up and cycled. That means live rock, sand, salt water, and enough running time for the tank's bacteria to grow and start processing. Takes from 1-4 weeks depending on various things, mostly quantity and quality of the live rock. Mushrooms and the softies (type of coral) you want are easy keepers with medium-grade lighting, prolific and good learning curve. They ARE animals, not plants, and have the habit of getting up and moving if discontent, so don't think of it as "planting" a tank. They don't have a mind, but they are stubborn and persistent.

y r u saying to buy a new tank rnt they a lill more expensive what are the advantages . y r u staying dont buy a used one if i want to build a stand. . n sorry wut does this IMO mean new to this enternt slang. thx for the link ill be lookin at that.

so when ur starting new tank you just let the wanter sit with some live rocks sand and salt for 1. 4 weeks. yea i have no problems with that, as with anything the more time n enegy u put into it the better ital be.

There is no need to buy a new tank you can find great deals on tanks all the time. i would recommend ya look around don't just jump on the first tank ya find. I also would recommend a reef ready setup!

Buddy.

Do be careful that whatever tank you buy---NOBody has ever used copper or medications in it---particularly copper. Seawater aggressively dissolves metals, and it becomes a poison lethal to invertebrates, corals, etc--- continuing to leach out of the tank's seams into the new salt water. This is one reason either to buy a salt rig that has only been used for saltwater, or a new tank, unless you really think you can trust the memory of the guy you're buying from.

I would offer him 75.00 for the tank. as your not gonna use the stand anyway it is a waste of money to pay extra for it. that is why we say just buy a new tank as they are not that expensive. the tank is gonna be the cheap part of this hobby. also you can look for areef ready tank. (a tank that has built in overflow)

IMO= in my opinion

after you get the LR and sand let the tank sit for 1-6 weeks to cycle.

thx for all the info huge help yall.,
so do u guys think that one with the blue back ground would be good. ill wont rush out though ill keep my eyes open for a while.
