Help w/ flow.

How much flow should I have in my 55? I currently have around 350 gph. I won't ever be keeping sps in this tank due to the lighting. I was thinking of adding a single 620 seio & keeping my maxijet 1200. Do think this would be enough??

What are you gonna be keeping in the tank. You say you don't want to keep sps in the tank now, but you never know about the future. You can't go wrong by upgrading your pump. More flow is always better. My only recommendation is instead of buying something that would be good for now, buy something that could accommodate any change of feelings you may come across. Its cheaper to buy one really good pump than to buy one now and upgrade it again later. Just my two cense. Hope it helps. Also make sure you can get the water out of the fast enough to accommodate what ever pump you get. Good luck.

This tank will NEVER have sps. It's to small in my eyes for them. I'm only going to keep acans, zoas, micros,& blastos.

My 55 is softie/LPS and a Maxi-Stream 600 spinning a 1.25" prop is the ideal amount of flow. It cost me a whopping $30 and only draws 6 watts according to my Kill A Watt.
