Help was is this???

Hello everyone can someone please tell me why my purple tip anemone is spitting out this white slime from its center? I had this anemone for about 2 years now and never seen this happen before...

I could be wrong, but it almost appears that it is spawning. After it is done I would suggest doing a water change and running some fresh carbon. And it wouldn't hurt to run your skimmer wetter for a bit.

Yeah, I think it is a male and it is spawning too.
