Help with 6060

I need help disassembling the drive unit for cleaning. I have looked at the sticky and can get everything apart except piece #2 (1. small o-ring, 2. plastic piece, 3. magnet, etc.) if you look at the photo in the sticky. Right now the unit will run for about 4 days before shutting off. Any help would be appreciated.

So the plastic piece is stuck to the magnet? In that case you just need to slowly pry it off working around it with a slotted screwdriver or a butter knife. I emphasize slowly prying it off by working a bit at different points, don't just try to push hard on one point or you could damage it.
