help with 75gallon stocking list

hey guys i finally bought my 75gallon tank and am going to be using an aquac remora hob protien skimmer rated for 75gallons until i can get the euro reef rs80. n e ways what kinda stocking list for a 75 gallon mixed reef would you all reccomend? heres what i was thinking

1 regal angel
1 flame angel (in the current setup right now had for a year and a half)
2 true percs (they are very small)
1 powder blue tang or purple tang havent decieded yet
3-4 anthias of some kind dont really know.
royral gramma

tell me what yall think. im more of a coral guy than a fish guy

I would highly suggest against the regal angel. They get large and are usually not reef safe. Your other fish look fine. The powder blue can be a bit touchy. Otherwise looks good.

That's a lot of fish for a 75. You might want to consider only around 5 total (particularly until you get the better skimmer). Also, the powder blue and the purple tang are tough to keep and would do better in an established 6' tank vs. the 4'. As mentioned above, the regal angel isn't reef safe, so be careful there, it will pick at/eat any corals you buy.

When I first started my tank about a year ago my flame angel mysteriously died after 4-5 days in the tank. Found him huffing and puffing laying on his side on the gravel one day. I was devastated, because that was my first loss also. I should have never put him in first, so be careful of the certain fish, as well as the order you put em in.

I"ve got a 75 and at 8 fish I feel I'm at my total max. I have 3inch yellow tang, 2-1/2 foxface, percula clown, 1-1/2 yellow tail damsel that is 4 years old and doesn't grow much but we like him, 1 inch talbet damsel, 2 inch royal gramma 2 inch 6 line. I mean That is totally maxed

like the lr that i have is over 2yrs old as well as the water that is going to be put in the 75 gallon. I will not do the regal angel after all. so heres what i think im gonna do

flame angel
2 percs
blue spotted jaw fish
powder blue tang
small purple tang

I don't think putting 2 tangs in a 75 would be a good idea. Tangs are rather territorial, and need a lot of room. I think you could get by with the purple, but I wouldn't put a powder blue in a 75. I'm currently upgrading my 55 to a 75 that I just got today. I have a purple in my 55, but the only reason I bought him was because I was planning the upgrade soon. The Zebrasoma species (purple tang, yellow tang, scopas tang) have always been known to be the best species to keep in a smaller tank, so I would go with the purple tang over the powder blue. Also, I would stay away from angels altogether. I like to keep a "safe" approach, and not add any fish that are "iffy", and almost all angels are. Next: from what I know, Blue Spotted Jawfish's are hard to keep alive, and a very expensive fish. You might consider a yellow headed jawfish instead, and see how that works out for you before you spend the money on a blue spotted. Just my 2 cents, hope it all works out for you!
