Help with 9010 skimmer

Hello,

I bought a slightly used 9010 recently and I can't seem to get a decent skim. I bought it because it's advertised as being insensitive to change in water levels. Since I don't have an ATO I thought it would be ideal.

It has the insump kit but it seems (to me) that it is sensitive to water levels. Most of the time I only get bubbles that rise to the top of the housing with no foam. This bubble level seems to fluctuate depending on the water level. Occasional I will get some foam but it is short lived. I have only collected up to the 200 line on the cup in 1 1/2 weeks.

Any suggestions.

Yes it is...

The water level inside the skimmer is then constant at the height of the stand pipe. It shouldn't vary with water level but it may have another issue. Can you PM me an email address and I can email you some photos of things to check for?
