Hello,
A question for anyone that has taken their 9010 tunze DOC skimmer apart...
Mine is in-sump and after 4 months of operation started to put out loads of microbubbles. I took the skimmer out, and everything seemed in order except that the (sorry, dont know their correct names) little plastic piece that joins the airline tubing to the pump, was only very loosely attached to the hole in the output tube of the pump. When I removed everything, including the nozzle that fits over the pump outflow tube, I noticed that the tubing fits great and tight when the nozzle isnt there, but when its on, there's a piece of plastic that prevents it from fitting in fully. I included the photo because no one would know what the hell I'm talking about otherwise? Hard to believe that's the way it's suppose to be. My question is, how do I get it to fit more snugly?
Thanks,
Dave
