Hi everyone. I have been on here for a while but was always lurking. I had a 80g reef tank that crashed on me with a heat wave we got here last summer in southern cali. I lost all my corals and fishes except for a purple and a regal tang.
I recently upgraded to a 150g setup that I was hoping to do a semi fish only with some waving corals. I really would like to keep a BlueFace, YellowBelly Regal, or a Majestic Angel. Prefer the BlueFace over the other ones. I also would like to keep a small California sting ray. The corals I am thinking of keep are the Xenias, anthelia, GSP, yellow polyps, and whatever that is easy and grows fast.
So my concern is what can I keep that will coexsist? This is where I need expertise help on. Thanks in advance!
Here is my livestock and equipment list at the moment.
Equipments:
-150 gallon Visio glass tank with an overflow box with a 1 1/2" drain and two 3/4" returns that sits on a 44" stand.
-29 gallon sump
-Deltec TS1250 Turbo Skimmer
-QuietOne 4000 High Head return pump with a SCWD
-ViaAqua reactor with carbon running with a MaxiJet 1200
-Sunlight Supply TEK Elite 8x54w T5 fixture
-Koralia Evo1400 and a Koralia Magnum7
Livestocks:
-3-4" Purple Tang (Zebrasoma xanthurum)
-3-4" Regal Tang (Paracanthurus hepatus)
-5 tiny Green Chromis (Chromis viridis)
-2-3" Orange Shoulder Tang (Acanthurus olivaceus) I am iffy on keeping this one.
