Help with a LTA - detached and floating for a week - pics attached

Added a LTA to my 28g Nano cube. It attached almost immediately. A week in I decided to feed it. The next morning it had moved across the tank, a day later it had detached and was free flowing. It expelled the shrimp I had fed it. For the past week it simply floats around the tank, most often settling under a rock where the current blows it.

I have tried placing its foot in a rock crevice, burying it in the sand, even turned the pumps off for an hr hoping it would reattach. All it does is blow around the tank. It's inflated, it's base is still sticky, and its mouth is closed.

What's going on? any help is appreciated

What are your water parameters --- with numbers.
How long has the tank been set up>?

LTAs (( M. doreensis )) are sand dwelling anemones, so would be better off trying to get it into the sandbed. Though, in the long run your tank isn't going to be big enough.

Any update.... I'm having the same issue with my LTA. It was doing fine until my clowns died and it started to float around the tank for the past two weeks.

I have a PLTA, its def a roamer, i think its light sometimes, he doesnt like where he is then he starts roaming, be careful though, mine has gotten caught in the vortech twice, and into my closed loop intake twice, hes a real trooper

We need more info on your tank to be of help. What are your water parameters & how long has tank been set up? How did you acclimate it to your lighting? It sounds like it's not liking your lighting or has too much flow around it. I tried everything imaginable to properly acclimate my LTA, & it still took mine 2 months to stay attached in sand/rockwork.
