I want to build a new zoa frag tank. I am looking to use some equipment I already have. I want some ideas on what would be ideal for a zoa tank to provide me with the best growth and color. right now I have a 250w Phoenix 14k, t4 pump, asm g3 skimmer, oceanrunner 4000. what kind of tank should I have something shallow, or deep. What are ideal water parameters for zoa's. What should i feed them, what supplements should they recieve?

A cube tank would be cool. It would allow for good coverage with the one bulb. 14k Phoenix is a great bulb for zoanthids IMO. Also, there is no real need to feed extra foods as long as you are keeping your fish fed. Keep Alk, Calcium, and PH within the normal ranges and you should have great success.

no need for fish... zoos mainly feed off light for their zoanxtheil ???
like photosynthesis.

some zoanthus gigantus, palythoas, protopalys and palythoa grandis eat... mysis, brine, pellets , flakes etc....
