Never had this experience with my Green Haddoni, it grew from 6 inches to the size of a dinner plate. It did however along with my perculas develop a nasty habbit of eating fish. It over 4 fish in the course of year, 2 large tangs and 2 angels. I had to trade him as I could no longer keep other fish besides my coral beauty.

cheers
D

Wow that really sux. I just hope mine doesn't do that. I have some really nice fish in my tank; Achilles tang, Regal Angel, Gem Tang, and many more. That would sux big time if he ate any of those.

Yea after I took that picture he move down into the sand then after spending two days their he moved to were he is half way on both the sand and rocks.

IME, Haddonis are not a fan of direct flow. They can handle a decent amount of flow, but if their oral disc is being lifted up a good amount of time they are not happy.

All of mine ( 3 of them ) all have their foot buried in the sand, right at the rock/sand interface.

Yea since I got him he has always had a open mouth. I've him twice and ate the silversides both time. What is IME? Thanks for the info

Try to feed it Rod's food. imo It should be better for it!

Gohan- Whats Rod's food.
Todd-Did you stick his foot under the sand or did he naurally go their?
I had to move him because the flow was to much for him and his mouth is still pretty much open. Now he won't eat anything either. It's been two weeks since he ate what should i try now?

All of mine put their foot like that by themselves.

IME, haddonis don't like a lot of direct flow, mine were unhappy if their oral discs were being lifted up a majority of the time.

Thanks for the link. Mine stays away from the direct flow too but he like the rocks it seems more than the sand. I looks good but I can't him to eat or for him to close his mouth more. Do you think that he will eat Dt plankton?

Sorry if I missed this info somewhere, but what have you tried feeding it so far?

DT's won't do a thing for the carpet. They (haddoni's) are after fairly sizeable chunks of meat, like in the 1cm square (1/2") ballpark..

Dont move the nem any more, he will go where it is best for him (lighting and flow), but I would do the light acclimation with either shorting the photo period or window screen layers. If he wont eat, dont force it. The more you upset his environment in anyway the harder it is for him to adjust. Just leave it alone and let him adjust.

I've tried feeding him mysis and brine shrimp mixed and silversides, but he just doesn't take it. Yea i've stopped move him. I've noticed though he has brown pellet coming out of his mouth, is this him pooing?
