Help with Acan coral!

Hello guys. I bought an acan coral 2 weeks ago but noticed and noticed that the coral started to change. I read somewhere that have low tolerance for light and may cause it to loose colour, so I moved it next to a cave. It now extends well during the day but is highly shivalled up at night. Should I be concerned? Even now the colours are less vibrant in comparison. Any suggestions?

Pictures are during day vs during night

Corals normally close up at night although Acans tend to stay open. If its flesh comes near the rock when it opens up it can get cut which will lead to infections and it dying pretty quickly. Make sure it is nowhere near rock when it opens.

Acans need blue light and lots of it in order to keep the nice colors. I'd take it out of the shade and put it on the sandbed, but if you don't have a lot of blue light it's not going to look the same as when you bought it.
