Help with algae ID

I have recently started having an outbreak of an algae I've not seen before...it is long and stringy, almost like something in my tank had a massive spawn... It also has little bubbles on the end of a lot of it...

Here are 2 pics of it on my glass...

I'm not certain what it is...water params look good, with just about everything I test for at 0 (trites, trates, etc.) or within normal limits (Ca, Alk, etc.)

I have not tested for phosphates yet...not sure if that is the issue or not...

The tank is a 75g with tons of flow...I do have a couple small dead spots where my detritus seems to accumulate and I'm trying to address that by changing the flow around a little to try to suspend all the detritus in the water column to get it to the sump and skimmer...I am also doing around 15g water changes weekly or bi-weekly to try to keep water params good and this had not helped...

I can blow the stuff off with a turkey baster, but the next morning it is back...any ideas?

I don't like the look of it, and would suggest turning off the pumps, scraping it away from the glass in large portions and siphon it out of the system. It could be a mixture of different algae, and none of them look good.

Clean your skimmer's collection cup and riser tube daily for now.

Wow...that sucks...I was planning on doing a water change tomorrow, so that can be done...at least, partially...there is some that is on the back wall behind the rock work that I can't really get to...

Any suggestions on anything that may eat it? I bought a sea hare the other day to help with anything on my rock work...see him from time to time cruising in and out of the rocks munching away...or any ideas as the the cause of it?

At times, it almost looks like a cross between really long thick hair algea with bubble algea on the ends...wierd...

It could be hair algae, something in the hydroid family, possibly cyano or dinoflagellates based on all the stuff visible. The bubbles aren't a good sign, and odds are detritus will accumulate on it too.
