Help With Apex

I´ve tried updating my apex firmware, but i couldn´t. Connection to apex always timed out. Even though, all my profiles and outlets configuration were lost (seems it has "reseted" itself). How to update it???
I´ve lost the internet connection, so i´ve updated the "web pages", now i can access it through my browser.
I´ve got 2 EB8 Bars, but I may see only 1 in the web browser (i´ve disconnected and reconnected it several times, but it still don´t appear to me), so I can´t configure the outlets of the 2nd EB8. What should i do so I can see it again? What is happening?

Is the Apex hard connected to the rounter/network? You cannot currently update the Apex base unit's firmware if the connection is wireless.

Apex is connected through an ethernet cable that goes to a router, but i'am accessing it through my notebook, that uses a wireless connection. Should i connect my notebook directly to the apex?

What about the 2nd EB8 Bar that is "missing" (can´t see it in my STATUS screen when accessing apex using WEB), and can´t see it either in the apex display.

Yes...a direct connect is the only way to get firmware updates to work. Running them over a wireless connection won't work.

I've just tried a direct connection from my notebook to the apex, using an ethernet cable, but the same thing happens: connection to apex times out.
I'm almost throwing this thing in the garbage and buying another thing that works :mad2:
