Help with aquapod pump.

Hi Guys,

The pump in the back of my aquapod keeps crapping out. Of course the pumps that I bought to replace it dont fit the tubing for the water return properly. Is there a special brand that people are replacing their pumps with?

The outlets on the pump are way too small to fit the tubing in the aquapod.

take the tubing out of the aquapod, place the end you want to connect to the new pump in HOT water, then it will slide right on.

of course if the tubing is too big just use a plastic hose clamp or zip tie

I replaced the whole line of tubing with a new piece from Lowes

MJ 1200 works great and ad a hydor if u dont have one yet

to my understanding, the MJ1200 is a direct replacement for the stock pump in terms of return line diameter
