I just noticed I have a bunch of eggs from my clowns.
This is my first batch that I have seen. The tru percs have been
Together for about a year didn't think it was going to happen but it did. Now I'm reading about these rotifers starter kit where can I get one. Lfs that I called had no idea what it was. I am looking for near Livermore Ca.
Also I've been reading about how to separate them from the tank. The eggs are orange with silver dots. The papa is caring for them as she strolls with other nem. I hear they hatch within 7-10 days, and will hatch at night. I do have a family and work. I wouldn't mind trying. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

rotifers loaded up with nanno and tetra. two or three days of light.give brine on day 4. crushed fish foods every day starting day 5 or 6 and stop brine when they all eat crushed foods.

I wouldn't worry about the first couple of batches. It takes about a week for them to hatch, and the clowns will lay again a few days after they hatch. Mine never stop spawning unless something in the tank changes and disrupts their routine. You will have plenty of opportunities to raise the babies now that you have a breeding pair. Get yourself set up with phytoplankton cultures, thriving rotifer cultures, a tank, and a plan. Get the Wilkerson book on clownfish, she will give you all the info you need. It takes a lot of space, time, and work, and is a challenging and rewarding task. Good Luck!

FYI, Amazon now sells the Wilkerson book in Kindle format for about $12. Much easier (and cheaper) than tracking down a used copy.
