Help with clowns!!

I posted this in the marine fish disease also.

Since I bought my clowns I've noticed they are growing some kind of white stuff on them, it's not spots or anything. They are like white growths on their gills, dorsal fins and some underneith their bellies. It started as a white spec on one of the clowns. Now both of them have it and it's spreading. I remember reading about this on someone elses thread but now I can't find it. Any idea what this could be?

Don't have pics right now but I can post some at lunch time.

I'm not sure from your description if you are talking about a film that is covering much of the clown or random growths.

Ok i just read about it and it seems that there is no medication, it has to run its course and I have to provide the fish with good quality water and food.

Anyone else go through this? What was your outcome and experience?

I should also mention that the lfs wasn't sure what it was and thought it was a fungus so they had me treat the tank with Pimafix for a week.
The clowns themselves are eating like pigs and swimming around.
