help with coral banded shrimp

i just got him but not sure whats the easiest way to accumate him. opinions, i don't have alot of time

Float him to bring him to temp. Then a slow drip until the salinity is the same as your tank.

If you have any shrimp in the tank you probably don't want one in your tank. They are aggressive toward any other shrimp and will kill many other crustaceans.

Agree with itZme. they are bullies in every sense of the word. I had one years ago and it killed 3 blood shrimp and picked apart my entire cleaner crew of hermits and snails. Needless to say, he's no longer with us. One of the purchases I regret. that's just my opinion of course. It's a shame since they are so cool looking.

I agree with them I have seen some mean coral banded shrimp!Take it back if you can.

i cant keep any other shrimp with mine, if they werent a pair i never would have gotten them

i didn't really plan on any other shrimp, but i was planing on getting a cleaning crew for the tank. it's a simple setup with a few small fish and coral. nothing to extensive on the live stock since i don't see it everyday. it's my g/f's tank so simple is best. now only if i know how to pick out an opposite sex to create a mated pair
