Help with diagnosis needed

The tank is a 700g (850 with sump). I just started treating crypto with Chloroquine Phosphate yesterday after having lost some prized fish (18" stars and stripe and Achilles tang). The fish are active, actually moreso with even only 12 hours on treatment) however a few seem to have secondary infections and I'm wondering if Melafix is the next med that needs to go in. I have a small niger trigger with what I'm sure is pop eye but my Atlantic Blue has something different that appears to be blotches that are brown in color. My first thought was black ich but I've treated that with prazi before and it was much more black in color.

My large vlamingi has also stopped eating but is out of hiding finally after 12 hours on Chloroquine when he's been hiding for a couple days. He definitely has some sliming and cloudy eye

I'm attaching some pics of the Atlantic Blue as that's the only one in question. The guy is tough as he's looked very bad and ragged but he's hanging on!

I really can't guess whats going on; but using CP to treat in a display tank is doomed from the start, IMO. There is simply no way of testing the amt of CP in the water column and how much has been absorbed by the LR, substrate, etc. A decent QT/HT would cost far less than just the achilles tang and you badly need one ASAP. Melefix won't do anything, except give your tank an aroma. Also, CP kills algae and massive algae die-offs can make ammonia skyrocket, I'd check the ammonia level.

Agree with Mr. Tuskfish on both counts. I tried dosing CP in my DT earlier this year and it simply didn't work...too many variables with all the rock, sand etc. Best to remove the fish for treatment in a dedicated HT and leave the DT fallow for 10-12 weeks.

Melafix is utterly worthless as a treatment. All it seems to do is make your tank water smell like tea.

Removing the fish isn't realistic and I'll just finish dropping to hypo before I go that far. I've read of other successes dosing a FOWLR so I figured I'd give it a shot. I'd also read that CP is not absorbed nearly to the extent that copper is. What is the proper treatment for cloudy eye and pop eye as melafix seems to be the go to from reading?

And I mean not realistic because I'd need at least a 300 gallon hospital tank to appropriately house them all and the 700 is 38" deep meaning I'd be going snorkeling in the tank to try and catch all of them.

Furan-2 would be a good antibiotic for popeye. Not sure if it can be used with CP, though.

I hadn't seen my clown trigger since Monday when he disappeared with a bad case of velvet or crypto so I assumed he was a goner. He has just reappeared although not looking great. I know it's only been 24 hours with the CP in the tank but so far I am seeing more positive reaction then I have in a long time. My big vlamingi was out this morning after hiding for 3 days as well.
