Hello.
Today I noticed that my yellow tang has what seems to be Marine Ich (see the white spots at the lateral fin in the pictures I attached). However I also noticed some larger and diffuse spots on its ventral fin which are different from the tiny ich spots in the lateral fins. I haven't been able to diagnose the spots on the ventral fin. Are they symptoms of different disease? Does anyone have any idea of what they might be? The tang is eating and acting normal.
The tank has live rock and sand and was started 1.5 months ago. Ammonia and nitrite levels have been consistently 0 for the past month or so. Nitrate is stable at around 5 ppm.
pH 8.2
Temperature 25 C
I also have one clownfish and one hermit crab. The clown fish seems to be unaffected at the moment.
The tang is the last fish I introduced, around 2 weeks ago.
