Help with Diamond Goby

I have cut back on feeding due to a HA problem and am now unsure if the Goby is getting enough food. I tried putting food on a rigid airline tube but it seems to scare him. Maybe it will work if I keep trying it.
I would put food near his home in the rock but I think he has moved to the back of the tank.
Any suggestions to get him to eat?

You know I have read that up to 60-70% of sand sifters have worms... that could be the problem as well...

About a year ago I had a diamond goby that ate all the time and still got skinnier and skinnier... finally passed but I have to think that was the problem...

My best friend has a diamond goby, hes had it for probably 6 months, when I first saw it, the guy was fat and a beast, but I just was over there yesterday and his heads big but his body is really skinny, I do see him sifting the sand non-stop everytime I am over there. But my buddy says he eats /shrug... then why is it SOO skinny!

I lost mine due to starvation last week. I had him for 3 years too.

When I tried to feed him by dropping food in a PVC tube, he would get scared and leave. My flame hawk was aggresive at keeping the goby away from any foods.

mine would try to eat the end of the turkey baster before I could even squeeze mysis out.. he was a rabid beast. Even stole food out of the tentacles of my LPS corals. I sold him to a forum member when I downsized to my nano :)
