KH: 7 dkh
Ca: 470
Nitrite: 0
Nitrates: <3 ppm
Ammonia: 0
Mag: 1335
Salinity: 1.024 to 1.025

So here is my question. And please don't laugh:

If I dose ESV B-Ionic since my KH is low can I dose more of part 1 ( alkalinity)than part 2(Calcium) without messing things up. Or do I need to dose both parts equal?

I did a search of the forums but didn't find the answer.

Yes, you can dose each part in different amounts in order to maintain the separate parameters where you want them.

In my opinion, 7dkh isn't low enough to have to tweak things, your calcium just looks a bit heavy as if more calcium got dosed relative to alkalinity. Let the next water change fix it.

You can bump it up a bit but I wouldn't got too far and watch your mag as that is the key to alk consumption and try lowering your ca dose a bit first.

Thank you everyone! I will follow the advice and just watch. My husband went out and bought an Elos KH testing kit to see what the results would be compared to our Tropic Marin the Elos test read 7.5 dkh. So it would appear that waiting is very good advice:) Thanks again everyone! And thank you for answering my dummy question of the day about the 2part dosing.
