Chipped? Is the chip on the inside or outside?

If its outside you should be fine, but just in case add some silicone to the bulkhead.

Better picture would be nice. If chipped, It really depends on the size of the chip. If cracked, it's done and don't use.

I'm no expert, but it definitely looks cracked to me also. I'm not sure how much you paid or if it would be worth replacing that side of the glass. Hopefully someone can answer that better or if it is even a option for you.

I got a pretty good deal on it, just throwing it out what if I went with a 1.5 bulkhead and drilled over this hole anyone ever try this..

You could, but the new hole would have to remove the crack completely. There is a chance that drilling again may cause the crack to increase. Nothing to loose now. Worth a try I guess.

I don't see a crack that you guys are seeing.

I see something that looks like a crack but I think it's just a scratch from the hole saw And the one big part is a chip. Hard to say though.

I think drilling a bigger bulkhead would be the ticket. Just make sure the bit takes it out completely and go sloooooooow. It took me 20 minutes per hole to drill my 75g, just for reference.

I'd also use something like this:

That's what I use. It's nice despite the dolt who gave it a bad review.

may just make a terrarium out of it, if have to go with a two inch bulkhead to drill out completely.the bit shaft bent on me on last hole and jumped out..
