Help with equip etc for 65 gal Anemone only tank

Hi! I'm in the process of getting a 65 gallon tank set up for use as an anemone (BTA) only tank & could use some help & suggestions.

I currently have a 90 gallon tank with 3 BTAs in it. They are growing and thriving & taking over the tank, so I'd like to get them into their own tank.

The new tank currently has a 250 watt 20k MH in it. I was thinking of changing the MH bulb to a 10k, and adding 2 VHOs for actinic supplimentation. Does this sound like a good combo? (My 90 gal has 2x150 20k MH, 2x55 6700 PC, 2x55 50/50 PC which I dont really care for)

My biggest questions are regarding how much LR and flow for it. Since the tank will only have anemones & 2 clownfish, do I need to have the standard 1-1.5 pounds per gallon? I'm planning on having a 4 inch sandbed.

For flow, would 2 Seio 620s do the job? Are they generally safe if an anemone moves into one or should I go with Maxijets with the sponge covers on the intakes? How many do I need for this? I plan on using a mag 7 for the return pump.

Any ideas, suggestions & opinions would be greatly appreciated!

You may want to post this in Advanced Topics as well. If I were doing a anenome only tank, I would do everything the same (as far as the sand and rocks go) Plus BTA's live on the rocks so I would think you would still need the standard 1-1.5 pounds per gallon.

Your bioload is light, so you can get away with maybe 30-35lb of LR (choose LR with lots of crevices).

I am not a fan of LS, I would not add it to my BTAs' system.

Two maxijets 1200 (with sponge covers) on the opposite sides of the tank (maybe one at the top and another one at the bottom) should do a nice job.

I would keep the same lights, as your anemones are doing so well.

Good luck and post some pics for us :)
