I am getting ready to start stocking my 225 tank 3' x 5' x 2'
Has about 210 Lbs live rock.

I dont want to get into fish fighting problems of fish eating fish so here is what I am thinking.

1-Lawnmower Blenny
1-6 line wrasse
5-cardinals spotted or Banggi Havent decided foresure but prefer Banggi
2-percula clown
1-blue Tang

I also reaaly like the dwarf angels but am not sure if I can have more than 1. What I want is a lemonpeal and maybe a potters but am not sure if dwarf angel of different types can be together.

This tank will also have corals, not yet sure of exactlly what but am thinking a variety some soft corals and some sps or lps.

Thanks in advance for any help.

you should be just fine with dwarfs together in that size tank. You might have some problems with those dwarfs you mentioned and corals. just a heads up.

Agree with the above post. The banggaiis will pair off and kill any outsiders. Lemonpeel angels are one of the most notorious for nipping LPS and clam mantles, but 2 pygmy angels will do just fine in there. Also, the sixlined wrasse will become a holy terror, when it gets older and at the very least prevent your from keeping any similar wrasses. If you are looking for schoolers, check blue zoo aquaitcs and look at their chromis. They have some unusual ones. I could suggest a yellow tang to replace the lemonpeel angel and a peppermint hot would look nice and be more friendly, than the wrasse. I like that you show restraint with the numbers of fish you have chosen.....I wish I had that much will power.:D

Once those cardinals pair up, they'll kill the others.

Thanks for this info. Just wanted to clairify will they kill other fish or just other cardinals. I was under the impresion that they were schooling fish and thought it would be better to have 5 but a pair would be OK if they aren't going to kill everything?

The lined cardinals (lots of species) and threadfins/blue eyes shoal very nicely in an aquarium and a group of 30 or so would be very eye-catching (the smaller species of course)
Apogon margaritophorus

I have 11 of these guys in my 92 corner and they are really nice

very nice small shoaling fish a large group of either one looks great:)
I also like lubbocks fairy wrasse, groups of these guys are cool, but it is hard to find females
bartletts, stocky, and lyretail anthias are hard and look nice as a harem
