Tank is a 75 gallon with a 33 gallon sump. Current stock list:

2 Black and White Ocellaris Clowns
1 Midas Blenny
1 Hippo Tang(Tiny 1.5" and has a future home when it out grows my tank)

2 Blood Shrimp
2 Peppermint Shrimp
2 Cleaner Shrimp
Assorted snails

Lots of soft corals and a few LPS and SPS.

Here are a few fish that I am considering:

Orchid Dottyback - (Pseudo Fridmani) - Of all the Dottybacks this one seems to be the least aggressive.

Flame Angel - Little concerned about picking at corals

A larger goby of some sort

Any advice or other suggestions for a fish that would work with my set up would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

flame angel i like. flame angel doesnt bother soft corals. as for lps, maybe brain corals. i hv a flame with sps and lps, no issue whatsoever. u hv a big enough tank, so a flame has enough to roam, therefore lessening the chance of it constantly picking at the same coral.

I have an orchid dback and it's a model citizen. Love the color too. I would go for one for sure. Flame angels along with all dwarfs are a hit and miss, IME as long as the live rock is pretty lively, it will just nip at it all the time and leave the lps alone.

I'd be nervous with the flame but thats just me. I know several people have kept them without any issues. I personally love the potters but they can be much more finicky when it comes to eating. I have the same size tank and I am finishing up my stocking since my crash a while back and I love the leopard wrasses and radiant wrasse. Since my mandarin didn't survive that crash last winter I will probably look into one of the leopards.

I think I should take a pass on the Flame just in case. Looks like the Orchid should be a good addition.

What else could I add? Is there a good wrasse, anthias or goby that would also fit in?

Agree, I would pass on the Flame Angel...you're rolling the dice with that one.

Anthias would be a good choice, but you may need to go with one of the more hardy ones with the pair of clowns...not sure if they feel the own the place? My choice would be a Pseudanthias squamipinnis.

A wrasse would be a good choice. One of the reef safe guys like a six-line, mystery, any of the fairy wrasses, etc. The flashers wrasse are my favorite but again not sure about the attitudes your clowns.

Your tank is too small for an anthias unless you want only one and even then it needs to be one of the smaller species. Squamipinnis need at least a 125, they like to swim a lot.

I had planned on getting a few for my 70 and learned they will not work. Also, is your tank top covered? The dottybacks and anthias are jumpers (some are).

Tank is not covered. May put some egg crate on it at some point so I am not too concerned about the jump factor.

Dartfish-
-fire fish
-Helfrichi's
-purple fire fish

Cardinal Fish-
-pajama (I personally don't like their color/pattern)
-bangaii (reminds me of the constellations)

Royal gramma

I would see if the LFS would allow you to return the flame for another fish or refund if you find him to be a nipper; flames look amazing!

I may have been a bit off on saying you couldn't have any anthias. Some are smaller, but it's not a fish I know too much about (ok, I know more about corals than fish :p ).

I would probably have to tear down my tank to catch a flame angel if I added one. Im not going to risk it even though they do look awesome.

I think an Orchid Dottyback will be fine. I want to order 2 fish when I put it in. Maybe a bigger Goby? Butterflyfish?

Yeah, I read a thread about them earlier today. I am glad I have never purchased one before. Even though they eat flatworms and bristle worms they are mean little buggers.

As noted earlier, fairy wrasses seem to be a good choice, I am looking at them now on LA. Some can be quite expensive, but they are beautiful.

Out of all the ones they have listed as reef safe, these are my two favorites:

Also, for a list of the ones LA lists as "reef safe"

I would double check with people on here for personal experience with them, but so far I haven't seen anything about them being bad additions.
