I just got a green bubble tip anenome about 5 days ago. For the last 5 days he has stayed in the front about 3 inches from where i put him, but he just crawled to the back of my tank behind the rocks. Should I dig him out and move him back to the front, or leave him and see if he comes back out?

From what I have read on here, you should not dig it out but rather reposition your water flow. If it moved, then it was probably unhappy for some reason in the spot that it was. My BTA moved back into a rock sometimes as much as once a day just to take a break from the lights.

well everything just got stressed out because i had an big alk spike, so i think that is the reason he moved. everything looked sick so i did a 10g waterchange and 5g a day since. my corals are starting to look alot better, but the anenome is still hiding back in the dark. I guess thats what i get for dosing cal without testing first. I should have known better.
